Roasted this week in Claremont
The coffee on the bar right now
Small batches, roasted to order. What you see here is what came off the roaster this week — when a lot is gone, it comes off the shelf rather than sitting around getting old.

Our story
Community, not competition.
Lucky's opened in June of 2019 in the heart of Downtown Upland, with a simple idea: bring specialty coffee to the Inland Empire without any of the gatekeeping that usually comes with it.
Before Lucky's, Tyler Smith worked for the Specialty Coffee Association and for coffee manufacturers like Wilbur Curtis, and helped establish the SCA's Roaster's Guild and Technician's Guild. He knows exactly how deep this trade goes — which is why the shop is built for everyone, not only for the people who already speak the language.
The name comes from his Irish heritage and from his experience as an adopted child. Lucky, in the truest sense of the word.
Transparency
Open communication inside our cafes and with our staff. What we pay, what we source, and why.
Quality over niche
Better across the board rather than a niche few coffees that appeal only to enthusiasts.
Community
We support the roasters around us. A better coffee scene lifts every shop in it, ours included.
The room matters
A cafe should be a place staff and customers both actually want to be in.
Wholesale
Two bags a week or a pallet a month — same phone number
We work with small businesses, pop-up carts, large cafes and corporate offices. No minimums, barista training included, and a real person answers within 24–48 hours.
